Synchronicity and How It Works
When you are clear about what you want, focus daily attention on your spirituality, observe your inner promptings and watch the outer world signs, synchronicity and miracles happen. As I flow through life with my focus firmly planted on my spiritual nature, I'm often quite surprised at how synchronicity works. Things often turn out magical even if initially it appears grim.
My husband, Raven, lost his wallet at the mall and couldn't find it. That is completely unheard of in our world - the reality Raven and I live in. We have cleared so much of the fear of loss, having something stolen, that the world is not a safe place, etc., that we never have anything like that happen. We put no energy on that way of thinking.
Its not that we never lose anything. Its just that its always easy to find. We buy reverse osmosis water in 5 gallon jugs at the local supermarket. Twice I've left my organizer - all my money, contacts, credit cards, etc. - in the front part of a shopping cart that I was using to transport the water and never even noticed it was missing until the supermarket called to say that they had it. And of course everything was there. Why? Because I don't believe it could be otherwise - even subconsciously. And that's the most important key.
So the events around the wallet were perplexing.
We stopped at the mall to pick up our mail. We were about to walk away from the car when Raven suddenly went back, pulled his wallet out of his jacket pocket, held it in his hand, and said "We always leave everything wide open." I just looked at him and thought "what odd behavior." Why shouldn't we? Why would we even consider doing otherwise?
However, his attitude, thoughts, and actions that particular day indicated that there was something to fear or worry about in this case. His thought pattern pretty much guaranteed something we would perceive as negative could happen. I was contemplating inside why he was having these thoughts. I find strange behavior or patterns very intriguing and I always try to figure them out. Its what I do.
We went into the mall, visited several stores, and then went home. Raven soon found that his wallet was missing. I almost laughed out loud. But I refrained myself. I "tuned in" and felt assured that there was no malice and that everything would be just fine.
As he retraced his steps, he remembered that Jesse had been fighting him to not get in his car seat. And in that moment he had placed the wallet on top of the car. When the car drove away, the wallet slid off. He drove back to the mall and walked around, trying to figure out where the wallet would have landed as it slid off the roof. We called mall security and all the stores we visited. No sign of a wallet anywhere.
Now I was really perplexed. I KNEW everything was fine. But it seemed amazingly strange that he couldn't find the wallet. That was a Friday.
On Saturday he called to cancel his ATM card. Funny thing, he had an extra - so there was no actual inconvenience created by the loss. He considered what else he would need to cancel or get a new one of. He decided to wait until Monday to do any of that.
Sunday night I got a really odd phone call. It seems our network chiropractor had been out of town for the weekend. When he got home he found a message on his answering machine from a woman who had found Raven's wallet. The problem was she had no information in the wallet about how to contact Raven. All she found was the network chiropractors business card - something Raven keeps with him just in case.
So Raven called the woman. It seems that moments after the wallet slid off the roof, she had parked and as she stepped out of her car she found herself stepping on Raven's wallet.
So who is she?
Funny you should ask.
Jim Cutropia, Raven, and several other workshop facilitators in Santa Fe have been looking for inexpensive facilities to host workshops locally. There are many facilities, but none are really set up for an entire weekend course or the prices are really prohibitive. Its Santa Fe after all. A group of people have been contemplating buying land and building something. Jim has been very diligently working on this whole idea. And suddenly Raven loses his wallet.
The woman who found the wallet runs The Tree House - a place none of us knew anything about. Its a great property just outside of town. There are hiking trails, facilities for workshops, and the participants can room in the tree houses. Its an ideal location and within everyone's price range. And Raven had to go there to get the wallet.
I am so amazed at the synchronicity and the series of events that happen to assist humans. I mean the grander scheme is way beyond my comprehension. And its really fun! I mean my little rational mind could never have come up with that one. How many crazy things had to happen for Raven to meet that woman?
Here is another quick example of how synchronicity can work.
Since before Christmas I've been started every day by reviewing my goals, being in gratitude, and reading uplifting material. One morning, the focusing activity was to write down at least 100 things I wanted to do, or have, or be this lifetime. I had all of my personal dreams fulfilled plus the attainment of world peace, everyone on the planet housed and fed, free education and health (alternative) services provided by number 65. I mean I couldn't think of one more thing I wanted. One of the things I wrote down was to buy up all the rainforest - to preserve it.
That same morning Raven asked me to purchase some new digestive enzymes.
I got a phone call that afternoon from one of our customer/friends wanting to share with me information about some nutritional products she had been using. I was listening to her experience and hearing about various products. My intuition wasn't saying anything - which means "sorry, no sale."
Then she said, "Well before I go, I should tell you about the great digestive enzymes that they have." I just started laughing and said "Go ahead." The sale was already made before she said anything. Raven had just asked about digestive enzymes and here this woman was telling me about some great new ones. Then she said this "And another great thing is that every time I make a purchase I'm helping to save the rainforest." "No way!"
Blessings. I'm showered in blessings - all day every day. Oh yes, on my short list of goals I have a statement that says "Magic, Synchronicity, Miracles and Opportunities happen every day." You get what you ask for!
Here’s to your journey,
Takara
