Pendulum Dowsing and Asking the Right Questions

I feel that applied kinesiology (muscle testing) and dowsing are two of the most empowering tools you will ever learn.

These tools allow you to consult your own inner guidance without having to rely on things outside yourself like people, a specific set of teachings, or something else.

I'm sure you've heard this, but I feel it is always worth saying: Prayer is you speaking to God. Your intuition is God speaking to you.

Whether you are using applied kinesiology or pendulum dowsing, you must be centered and balanced before you can ask good questions and receive reliable answers.

The questions you ask are critical.

If you are feeling out of sorts, unbalanced, or upset, then you are not in a good space to use a pendulum.

Once I know I'm centered, then I always say, "I Am that I Am," while watching the pendulum go to "yes," which ensures that I am connected and seeking wisdom from the highest level possible.

Get centered. Say, "I Am that I Am. And get a "yes" to that statement before you proceed. Once those preliminaries are out of the way, you need to focus on asking good questions.

Even old pendulum dowsing pros forget the fundamentals sometimes. I had been having problems with my computer for about two months. I update my virus scanning definition files and run a full system scan on my computer every day.

It kept finding nothing.

Yet I knew something was wrong. I kept using my pendulum and asking if my computer had a virus and the answer was always no.

Finally I asked if my computer had a worm and got "yes." I asked the angels to fix it and now its working great. My computer didn't have a virus, so the dowsing was accurately answering my question. I was just asking the wrong question.

How often do we do that?

You can get the answer to anything, but you have to first ask the right question.

Some answers don't come right away.

They come when you are ready.

Somehow I knew there had to be a list that fully encompassed all the things that keep humans separate - at least believing they are - from Creator or their Divine nature. I knew it was probably a concise list that magically included everything. So I pondered and prayed and asked and questioned for weeks. Finally I just gave up and let it go.

I was driving home from Santa Fe one day and the whole list just popped into my head. Of course I wrote it down and then asked the other really important questions that allowed me to figure out how to heal the things on the list. Three or four years ago my friend Judith Moore, a famous oracle from Chimayo, New Mexico, did a reading for me and drew 3 circles full of light language symbols. She went on and on about how important they were and that I had created them prior to Atlantis.

I had them redrawn by a Disney artist. And they sat. And they sat. And they sat.

What the heck were they for? I started getting glimpses of their "truth" and called them Dolphin Disc Technology and made them available. But I knew there was alot more that I didn't yet understand. Then one day I just knew. I knew all about them. I knew how to use them and for what. And she wasn't kidding they are powerful - practically incomprehensible. Anyway, it took a couple of years to get those answers.

Ten or 11 years ago I attended an 8-day workshop with Stuart Wilde called Warriors in the Mist. It included a sweat lodge followed by a vision quest. It was a glorious 8 days. When we all came down off the hill we were presented with a feather and a drum. The following evening we each painted our vision onto our drum. It was a great way to more fully anchor in the experience.

A year after the workshop, I had just quit my corporate job and was heading west to begin my new life and start a non-profit for whales and dolphins with a woman I met at Warriors in the Mist.

I stopped at the rustic resort south of Taos where Warriors in the Mist had been held and I asked my guides for more clarity about what my vision meant. I received new insight. But the picture still wasn't complete. Every time I looked at the drum, I was contemplating the full meaning. Then suddenly I got it.

Suddenly I knew exactly what the vision meant.

Eleven years is a bloody long time to wait for answers. But the truth required that I grow this much in order to handle the responsibility and understand the truth.

So don't get frustrated when the answers don't come right away - especially if the questions you ask are like mine - how we can evolve the human species, how to heal everything that afflicts humanity, how to bring joy, peace, fulfillment and prosperity to everyone.

Have you ever noticed how many people I mention that I call friend? I have tons of friends all over the world. How did I get them? I asked for them. Every time I write out a list of desires to the Universe, it always includes "interesting, uplifting, prosperous, fun, spiritual, etc. friends all over the world."

It's not just questions that require asking.

You also have to ask for assistance.

If you want assistance from your Higher Self, your guides, the angels, the dolphins, even your dog, you have to ask. You have to ask for help. You have to say exactly what it is that you desire. And you have to be very specific, clear, and you can always add, "or something better" if you want to ensure that what you are requesting will be exactly what you need.

If you need money for the rent, then just say, "I need money for the rent." Its very clear. Its very precise.

Some people feel that you should say, "I choose to have the money for the rent," of "I accept money for the rent." They get all caught up in how you word it. If I need money for something I just come out with, "I need money for ___."

The energy behind your statement is much more important than the actual words.

If you are desperately afraid the money won't be there, then it doesn't matter how you word the thing, the money isn't coming.

If you completely and absolutely expect the money to be there and simply say "I need it" then you will always have what you ask for.
