Help Overcoming Fear
Where are you compromising yourself? Where are you giving away power, or time, or energy, or money, where it doesn't feel good? Is there a job or relationship or situation that you find yourself in that is not serving you as it should?
We've reached a time in our history in which we can no longer pretend. For a long time you could ignore how you felt about people and situations. You could pretend all was O.K. even if it wasn't. Whether you like it or not, that time is now past.
In all places where there is lack of truth, the truth is being revealed.
You can no longer pretend that you are alone, that you are small and unworthy, that you are a victim to anyone or anything. Because those are not the truth. You are connected to everything. You are connected to the person or situation that you are no longer enjoying. You are exceedingly powerful and you create everything in your life without exception.
According to Abraham, one of my favorite teachers, your emotions are the Divine part of you giving you feedback about the direction of your creating. They are your guidance system.
You have specific desires. And God, the Universe, Creator, your Guardian Angel, or whatever name or way you choose to look at Divinity, knows what each of your desires are - even before you do. God knows the kind of relationships you want and the kind of car you'd like to drive and that you'd like better health, and that you need to eat and have a house to live in. But, you are the creator of your experience. If you never learn anything else the rest of your life, please learn this. What you think about is what you create.
If you obsess about your bills, you get more bills - its the universal law of attraction at work. You don't have a pile of bills because you are a bad person or because God doesn't find you worthy of bestowing riches upon. You have bills because you spend alot of time worrying about them and/or you are running a subconscious program of fear or false belief in lack that you have not addressed.
You are in a time when the mis-truths that you've been carrying around are in your face. This is what I meant when I said earlier, you can no longer pretend - even to yourself.
Luckily the emotional guidance system is there. And understanding how it works is amazingly simple. The Universe already knows what you want. If you begin to have negative feelings (fear, anger, jealousy - or any other emotion that doesn't feel good) then you are creating opposite to your desires. How? By the thoughts you are thinking. By what you are focusing your attention on. When you experience positive emotions (love, joy, happiness, excitement, exhilaration) you are placing your thoughts on the things you desire (not the lack of them) and you are creating those desires.
So if there is a person or situation that doesn't feel good to you, you need to take time to evaluate why. After you figure out where you are compromising yourself, ask yourself why.
The answer to that question is always a fear. An example might be: "I'm compromising myself at work, dealing with people and a company I really dislike, because I'm afraid I can't get another job for the same pay, etc. And if I can't get a job, then I can't pay all the bills. Me and my family would be homeless and starving."
That is a very real fear and some people have feared it so strongly that they've created that exact scenario.
Some people compromise themselves in relationships, doing or saying things they dislike, because they fear they will be unloved if they set boundaries with people, or they will be alone.
But there is the other end of the spectrum.
This is one of my favorite shining star examples. Take the author of Harry Potter. I haven't checked out this story, so pardon me if these are not the actual facts. I use it for the hope it brings to the rest of us. This is what I've heard.
J. K. Rolling - she lived in a run down part of town and it was so cold in her apartment or home that she would take her young son with her to a local cafe where she would write the book Harry Potter in the warmth of the cafe.
Look at her now. She is the 2nd wealthiest person in England. She is an International sensation. And is continuing with more books, more movies, more action figures and games, and on and on it goes. She is a smashing success. Not only that, but she has taken "magic", a subject previously considered taboo, and not only made it socially acceptable, but extraordinarily popular.
And what is magic anyway? Learning about the power and energy of nature. Knowing that you can affect outcomes through focus and attention and ritual. That if you do "magic" for good purposes that you will receive good in return. And if you do bad "magic" - that manipulates or harms anyone in any way - you will experience hardship like you can't believe. That all things have consciousness. That plants and herbs and crystals and color can be used for beneficial results. If we know we are the creators of our own reality and we consciously use our will and our focused intent, then in essence we are all wizards.
Why do those people create living on the street? Because they haven't aligned with the Truth of who they are, that they are deserving, that the Universe is not a place of scarcity, but that it is a place of plenty. They haven't aligned with the Truth that they create their circumstances - not someone or something out there.
Whether you like it or not your world is changing. Your thoughts are manifesting much faster than they used to. It is now critical to your health and well being to eliminate any blocks that you still have to the truths mentioned above. Otherwise the havoc they are creating in yourself and your life will only continue to escalate.
Practical ways to apply this information:
1) Notice your feelings.
2) If you find yourself experiencing a negative emotion, switch it immediately.
3) The fastest way to switch from a negative to a positive thought is to be in gratitude. State to yourself, or write down, everything you can think of that you are grateful for.
4) If a person or situation causes you to repeatedly experience negative emotions, delve into why.
5) Once you discover the underlying fear or belief that has caused you to compromise yourself regarding the person or situation - heal, transmute, release it.
6) Joy is the most important thing to focus on right now. Do the things that bring you joy. Spend time with the people that bring you joy. Go to places that bring you joy. Seek joy in every moment.
7) Anytime you are experiencing fear, ask the angels and/or the dolphins to come and assist you. You will be amazed at what happens. Sometimes it is as simple as saying "I need help here."
